These are sketches that I get into
once in a while. I really love taking the time to doodle and just have
fun with drawing and designing. It's something that I enjoy doing on my
free time and should do more often. This is a drawing of a random
monster that I wanted to design for a friend of mine.
Drawing hands in this particular career is such a
difficult task, but challenging (especially when it comes to animating
or designing characters). I was inspired to draw my own hands one day by
my professor, Michael Wingo, because he constantly bugged me in figure
drawing about how I should focus on the hands when drawing the figures. I
avoided hands due to their complexity, but really got into sketching my
own.
Another hand drawing in a different pose. Hands are really
expressive and really does improve the overall drawing when executed
correctly.
I love elephants since I was a young artist in the making. This was just a quick sketch when I went to the zoo.
